Our Story

Our founder, Donal O’Sullivan, began his career in the construction industry in 1987. Over the years, he noticed an increase in demand for storage units as apartments and offices were decreasing in size. He recognized this problem and assisted in the building of a 6 story storage facility located in Long Island City. Having witnessed first hand the struggle residents and business owners currently face in today’s real estate market. Donal felt inspired and started Simplify Valet Storage.

Donal wanted to put the customer first and not go down the route of traditional storage. His mission is to make people ’s lives easier by bringing the storage unit to them. Valet Storage is a simple model where the customer never has to waste time traveling to a storage facility. Our drivers deliver our signature blue bar-coded bins to you, in which you can pack the items you no longer need and schedule a time for pick-up that’s most convenient for you.

Simplify Valet Storage is made up of a close-knit team developing new ideas on making storage easy and accessible for all New Yorkers. We currently service all 5 boroughs and hope to expand in the near future.
